About

A decade of apps. Now bringing technology to your business goals.

I am Jean‑Raphaël, based in Quebec. After nearly ten years in the app industry shipping AAA-grade applications to the App Store, I am beginning a new adventure as an independent IT consultant. This is my next chapter: bringing my expertise to work with you, reaching your goals with technology, and helping you navigate a new digital era that is evolving at a fast pace.

Where I started

It started about ten years ago, when I wrote my first screen and saw it running on my iPhone. The question that kept me there was a simple one: how does an idea actually become something people can hold in their hands? Answering it meant learning every step of the road — the interface, the code underneath, the tests that keep it honest, and the pipeline that carries it to a real device.

More than a hundred App Store releases and thousands of hours writing code teach a particular discipline. Real users, real reviews, real crash reports, and a submission that either meets the bar or does not. AAA-grade is not a slogan here: it is the standard a public release imposes on you, every single time.

The next chapter

Everything that decade taught me is what I am taking with me. After nearly ten years of building inside the app industry, I am starting out on my own — the same standard, the same discipline, now applied end to end to the products I take on.

Working independently means nothing gets lost in translation: the person who hears your idea is the person who draws the screens, writes the code, and presses the release button. AI sits at the centre of this new practice — not as a gimmick, but as the thing that lets one person deliver at the pace of a team, with ten years of judgment deciding what is actually good.
